Help me give my ChatGPT dot a business phone voice with SkipCalls. If I am new to SkipCalls, open https://app.skipcalls.com/ and let me create an account and sign in securely in the browser. I will handle passwords, email confirmation, OAuth consent, and payment there. Do not ask me to paste credentials or payment details into chat. In ChatGPT, add SkipCalls as a custom app (developer mode) with the server URL, and let me complete OAuth authorization in the browser. Then make SkipCalls available to my dot. Use the SkipCalls remote MCP server at https://be.skipcalls.com/mcp. Once authorized, call getOverview and onboardingProcess with action=status. If the connector or sign-in fails, report the exact blocker and stop. A prompt alone does not grant tool access. Follow the next step returned by onboardingProcess, one step at a time, and recheck status after each step. Use the tool's category list for my Business Profile. Ask for missing business facts and show me the exact profile before saving it. For billing, show the exact plan, price, billing period, and trial terms. Only after I approve, create the Stripe checkout link; let me complete checkout in the browser, then recheck status. Propose the receptionist name, greeting, and business-specific call instructions for my approval. Create or complete the receptionist through onboardingProcess and verify that a phone number was assigned. Offer Google or Outlook calendar connection if I want it. Then explain how to forward my existing business line if needed. Finish with a short readback of the business profile, subscription, receptionist, phone number, and any remaining step. Do not place calls, send messages, or change an existing configuration without showing me the exact action first. Do not claim the setup works until the tools confirm it.

Connect SkipCalls in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT settings, add SkipCalls as a custom app with https://be.skipcalls.com/mcp, then connect and approve access on the SkipCalls screen. No API key is needed.

Hand it to your dot
Give your dot SkipCalls and paste the prompt. It checks onboarding status, collects your business profile, creates the receptionist and number, and keeps an eye on new calls.

No. SkipCalls answers calls through its AI receptionist. Your dot can configure that receptionist and review call information using SkipCalls tools.
Who can use Dots?
OpenAI is rolling Dots out in ChatGPT on Pro, Business Premium and Enterprise plans. Any ChatGPT chat with SkipCalls connected can run the same setup.
