That is the focus of the newest SkipCalls voice experience. Five new voices are now available on Growth and higher web plans:

Each voice uses SkipCalls' OpenAI GPT-Live full-duplex voice path, with a separate delegated model handling reasoning and tools. Calls have more natural timing, smoother turn-taking, and better handling of interruptions. Your receptionist can pause when a caller speaks, follow the new request, and continue without forcing the conversation through a rigid script.

What changes during a real call

The difference is easiest to hear in the small moments.

A caller may begin with a simple question, interrupt the answer, then ask to book a time instead. The new model can follow that change while keeping the conversation moving. It still uses the business details and instructions you added to SkipCalls. When the caller needs an action, your receptionist can check availability, book an appointment, take a message, send a follow-up, or transfer the call when your setup allows it.

The result is a receptionist that sounds less rehearsed and responds more naturally to the way people actually speak on the phone.

Try a normal customer request. Ask a follow-up question, interrupt an answer, or change your mind halfway through. That gives you a better sense of the new model than a short recorded sample.

Choose a new voice in the mobile app

Install the latest SkipCalls update from the App Store or Google Play before you start.

1. Open SkipCalls.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Open your receptionist settings and tap Voice. If you do not have a subscription yet, tap Voice directly from the Settings screen.
4. Preview Marin, Beacon, Cinder, Stone, or Vesper.
5. Tap the voice you want to use.
6. Place a test call before sending customer calls to the new voice.

The new voices are included with Pro on mobile. On the web, they require Growth or higher.

Move from a mobile subscription to Growth on the web

Skip this section if you already have mobile Pro. Your plan includes the new voices.

Apple, Google, and Stripe manage separate subscriptions. To move an active App Store or Google Play subscription to a web Growth plan, finish the mobile subscription first. This avoids two active subscriptions for the same SkipCalls account.

1. In the SkipCalls mobile app, open Settings, then Profile & Account, then Subscription.
2. Cancel the App Store or Google Play subscription. You keep access through the end of the paid period.
3. After that period ends, sign in to app.skipcalls.com with the same SkipCalls account.
4. Open Billing and choose Growth or a higher plan.
5. Complete checkout through Stripe.
6. Return to Settings, open your receptionist settings, and tap Voice.

If you need the new voice before the mobile subscription ends, contact SkipCalls support from the app. The team can review the account and help you avoid overlapping subscriptions.
