What changes during a real call
The difference is easiest to hear in the small moments.
A caller may begin with a simple question, interrupt the answer, then ask to book a time instead. The new model can follow that change while keeping the conversation moving. It still uses the business details and instructions you added to SkipCalls. When the caller needs an action, your receptionist can check availability, book an appointment, take a message, send a follow-up, or transfer the call when your setup allows it.
The result is a receptionist that sounds less rehearsed and responds more naturally to the way people actually speak on the phone.

Try a normal customer request. Ask a follow-up question, interrupt an answer, or change your mind halfway through. That gives you a better sense of the new model than a short recorded sample.
Choose a new voice in the mobile app
Install the latest SkipCalls update from the App Store or Google Play before you start.
- Open SkipCalls.
- Tap Settings.
- Open your receptionist settings and tap Voice. If you do not have a subscription yet, tap Voice directly from the Settings screen.
- Preview Marin, Beacon, Cinder, Stone, or Vesper.
- Tap the voice you want to use.
- Place a test call before sending customer calls to the new voice.
The new voices are included with PRO, on mobile and on the web.
Move from a mobile subscription to PRO on the web
Skip this section if you already have mobile PRO. Your plan includes the new voices.
Apple, Google, and Stripe manage separate subscriptions. To move an active App Store or Google Play subscription to a web PRO plan, finish the mobile subscription first. This avoids two active subscriptions for the same SkipCalls account.
- In the SkipCalls mobile app, open Settings, then Profile & Account, then Subscription.
- Cancel the App Store or Google Play subscription. This turns off renewal.
- Sign in to app.skipcalls.com with the same SkipCalls account and open Billing.
- Choose one of two options:
- Keep using the mobile plan until its paid period ends, then return to Billing and choose PRO.
- Switch immediately. Click End mobile access and continue, confirm that the remaining mobile time will end, and continue directly to PRO checkout.
- Complete PRO checkout through Stripe. Your receptionist, phone number, and settings stay in your account.
- Return to Settings, open your receptionist settings, and choose Live Marin (New), Live Beacon, Live Cinder, Live Stone, or Live Vesper.
Most people who want the new voices do not want to remember to return weeks later. The immediate option completes the switch in one session. The End mobile access and continue button appears only after the App Store or Google Play cancellation has reached SkipCalls. If it does not appear yet, refresh Billing after the store confirms that renewal is off.
