How to Set Up Quoting
A few minutes on the web, under Automations, then Estimates.
Tell it how you charge
Open Estimates on the web and write your prices the way you would explain them to a new hire. You can also dictate them, or attach the price list you already have: a photo, a screenshot, a Word, Excel or text file.
Check your prices
SkipCalls turns your words into a list, one row per price. If it had to guess something, it asks you. Use Try it to type what a caller might say and see the exact quote it would make.
A caller asks how much
Your receptionist takes the call as usual. Afterwards the caller’s card in Needs you holds the quote: the total, how it adds up, and a text for the customer.
You tap Send
Send the text as it is, or edit it first. Nothing goes to the customer until you send it.
An Instant Quote on Every Price Call
The quote follow-up is ready before you are off the job.
The math is shown, line by line
Every line comes from your own prices: hours times your rate, the flat fees, the extras. The total is calculated, never guessed.
Missing details become one question
If the caller did not say how many rooms or flights of stairs, the card asks one question. Send it to the customer or fill it in yourself. Jobs that need a visit get a text offering one.
Quotes on calls and texts, if you want
Turn on Quote from these prices on calls and texts, and your receptionist gives the price from your list during the call and in text replies. It is off until you turn it on.
Prices change, quotes follow
Update a price and the open quotes you have not edited or sent yet are worked out again. One switch turns Estimates off and keeps your prices saved.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is AI quoting software for a service business?
It turns a customer’s question about price into a quote without you doing the math. In SkipCalls you describe your prices once. When a caller asks how much, a quote from those prices waits on the caller’s card with the math and a text ready to send.
Can my AI receptionist give prices over the phone?
Yes, if you turn it on. The Quote from these prices on calls and texts switch on the Estimates page lets your receptionist give the price from your list during the call and in text replies. It is off by default, and then the quote waits on the card for you to send.
Do I have to fill in a price table?
No. Write it in plain words, say it out loud, or attach a photo or file of the price list you already use. You can change any row later.
What if the caller does not give enough details?
The card asks one question, for example how many flights of stairs. You can send that question to the customer or answer it yourself, and the quote updates. Jobs you price only after a visit get a text offering one.
Which plan includes quoting?
Estimates is included with Pro and higher. Set it up on the web under Automations, then Estimates.
