Review & Referral Request Scripts for Pool Services
Pool customers usually call you right when stress is highest: a green pool before a party, a pump that died, or a heater that won’t fire. Reviews and referrals are how you win those “urgent” calls in spring and summer—without racing to answer the phone with wet hands or while handling chemicals. These scripts are built for real pool work: weekly service, openings/closings, equipment repairs, and big remodel jobs.
Google Review Request (right after you finish the job, on-site)
Use this as you’re packing up after a weekly service, opening, repair, or cleanup.
“All set—your chlorine and pH are balanced, and the filter pressure looks good. If you feel like we took care of you today, would you mind leaving us a quick Google review? It really helps when people search ‘pool service near me,’ especially in the spring rush. I can text you a direct link so you can do it later when you’re dry—what’s the best number?”
Tips for this scenario
- -Say what you fixed/verified (chlorine, pH, filter pressure) so the customer knows what to mention in the review.
- -Ask for the best number and send the link immediately—pool customers get distracted once you leave.
- -If it was an urgent repair ($200–$800), mention the speed: “same-day” or “got you running before the weekend.”
