Your AI Answers in Whatever Language They Speak
No "press 2 for Spanish." No awkward pauses. No missed customers. SkipCalls automatically detects the caller's language and responds naturally in English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, and 10+ more — included in every plan.
How Multilingual Detection Works
From first word to fluent response in under a second.
Caller dials your number
"Hola, necesito hacer una cita para mañana." The caller starts speaking naturally — no menu prompts, no language selection.
Deepgram Nova-3 detects the language instantly
The speech recognition engine identifies the language within the first few words using multilingual mode. No delay, no interruption.
AI responds in the same language
The AI switches to the detected language immediately and continues the entire conversation naturally — scheduling, answering questions, taking messages, all in the caller's language.
SMS follow-ups also arrive in the right language
If a confirmation or follow-up SMS is sent after the call, it is written in the same language the caller used. The experience is seamless end to end.
Supported Languages
Every language is fully supported — scheduling, messaging, transfers, and all features work the same way.
Why Businesses Choose Multilingual AI
Every caller deserves a seamless experience — regardless of what language they speak.
No Awkward IVR Menus
Callers never hear "press 1 for English, press 2 for Spanish." The AI detects their language and responds — the call just works.
Mid-Call Language Switching
If a caller switches languages mid-conversation, or explicitly asks to switch, the AI follows immediately without skipping a beat.
SMS Replies Match the Language
Post-call text messages — appointment confirmations, follow-ups, messages — are sent in the language the caller used, not defaulting to English.
Every Plan, No Upcharge
Multilingual support is not a premium add-on. Every SkipCalls plan starting at $19.99/month includes full multilingual capability across all 10+ languages.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which languages does SkipCalls support?
SkipCalls currently supports English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, Italian, and Dutch, with more languages being added. Language detection is powered by Deepgram Nova-3 in multilingual mode, which provides high accuracy across all supported languages.
Does the AI really switch mid-call without prompting the caller?
Yes. The language detection happens automatically based on what the caller says. If a caller starts in English and switches to Spanish halfway through, the AI detects the switch and continues in Spanish. Callers never need to do anything — the AI adapts to them.
Is multilingual support available on all plans?
Yes. There is no additional charge for multilingual support. Every SkipCalls plan — starting at $19.99/month — includes automatic language detection and responses in all 10+ supported languages.
What speech recognition engine is used for multilingual calls?
For multilingual calls, SkipCalls uses Deepgram Nova-3 with multilingual mode enabled. For English-only setups where maximum accuracy is the priority, Deepgram Flux (English-only mode) is used instead. The mode is configurable per agent.
Will the AI ever refuse to speak a language or say "I only speak English"?
No. The system prompt explicitly forbids any response like "I only speak English." If the AI receives a message in a supported language, it will always respond in that language.
How does this work with appointment scheduling and other integrations?
All core features — appointment scheduling, call transfers, message taking, knowledge base lookup — work the same way regardless of language. The caller experience is identical whether they are speaking English, Spanish, or French.
