Client Retention Call Scripts for Towing Services
Towing customers usually call you on their worst day—breakdowns, accidents, lockouts, dead batteries. If you follow up the right way, they remember you as the calm, fast help (not just “a tow”). These scripts are built for roadside reality: you’re in traffic, around noise, and you can’t always answer—so every call needs to be short, clear, and specific.
1) Check-in Call (Same Day After Tow)
Use this 2–6 hours after you drop the vehicle at the shop/driveway/storage lot.
“Hey, this is [Name] with [Company]. I just wanted to check in after the tow earlier—are you and everyone okay? Your vehicle was dropped at [location] and we noted [keys left with / gate code / shop contact] so there’s no confusion. Did anything feel off during the hookup or drop, or did we miss anything you needed like photos for insurance? If you need another tow or roadside help later, save this number—most local tows run $75–$150, and we can usually give an ETA fast.”
Tips for this scenario
- -Ask the safety question first (“Are you okay?”) — accident calls remember that.
- -Repeat the drop location and key handoff details so you don’t get a midnight “Where’s my car?” call.
- -Offer one useful add-on: “If your battery was dead, we can do a $50–$75 jump next time without a full tow if it’s safe.”
